I know I’m 2 months late for this but since I have the pictures here I’m going to post them anyway.
If you never heard of the Rubber Duck Project before you can click here to read more about it.
Actually the duck came to Vietnam way before Korea, even before I moved to Seoul but it was in Ho Chi Minh City and I didn’t have time to go see it. So once again when it came to Seoul there is no way I would miss it.
They duck stayed at Seoul’s Seokchon Lake for 30 days in the month of October and November. I think I went meet the duck some time around early November when the project was almost ended for Korea stop and there was still so many people. I was hard finding a spot so you can take picture of the duck without random people appearing in it. But in the end I managed to do it, yay me!
Say hi everyone~
I don’t know if it’s the same in other country too, but for Korea they made up a really cute character for the duck. When the duck, for some reasons, was deflated while floating on the lake they posted a message on official twitter said “Don’t worry I just need a little nap”. And then after they got the duck fixed they put a sign near the lake saying “I had enough sleep let’s play!”. Isn’t that cute? It even sounded a lot cuter in Korean!
I heard he(or she?) headed to Shanghai after Korea and then been swept away in recent floods in China, but he will come back soon I believe; he’s a duck; which duck afraid of water, right?
I don’t think I can call myself a B.A.P since I’m not that dedicated but sure I know about them more than any Kpop group that debuted after 2010.
I wasn’t planning on visit TS Pop-up Store since its operation time was only 2 weeks and I was having my mid-term exams. But a close friend asked me to get her some stuffs from the store, plus for some reason the company decided to keep the store running for a few more days, so I actually went look around myself.
And since I was able to take some photos I better just post them here too.
For fans that wanted to buy B.A.P related goods but the store is already closed, TS has a website where they sell all kind of goods from all artists that belong to the company, you can check it out here -> http://en.tseshop.co.kr/
Every year during October a Silver Grass Festival will be held at Haneul Park (하늘공원) which located within the Seoul World Cup Park (월드컵공원), it was one of the items on my pocket list since I first heard about it. Unfortunately, this year the festival week crashed with my mid-term week. Me and my friend had been pushing it back for a few times before I can finally manage to take myself away from all the books the weekend right before exam.
We didn’t realize it was actually the last day of the festival till we got there and been encountered by a sea of people. How many people you ask?
There were so many people I actually felt uncomfortable, but in the end I was happy being able to see the sliver sea I always wanted to and spend one relaxed day with friend.
P/s: So many couples walking around with selfie sticks in hands, I don’t get this trend…
